Community Involvement and Fundraising
Founders Day, which began as a celebration in Jamshedpur, has now spread across Tata companies worldwide.
In the UK, Founder’s Day has become a day for Tata Steel employees to engage in community activities and raise funds for local causes. Rajesh praised the unique involvement of employees in community fundraising activities and committed to match the funds raised by employees. This year's Founders Day holds special significance due to the recent passing of Ratan Tata, a legendary figure in the Tata family. Rajesh described Ratan Tata as the custodian of the Tata values explaining: “His actions and leadership have been exemplary. He upheld the Tata values through times of great economic change, ensuring the group's continued progress while maintaining its ethical foundation.
