Unglazed Transpired Solar Collector (uTSC)
An active solar air heating solution that provides a renewable pre-heat function.
It utilises the energy from the sun to raise the temperature of the external air feed to a conventional heating system and so reduces the amount of energy needed to heat the building to the required temperature.
The most suitable types of buildings for this renewable technology are non-domestic buildings in the industrial, commercial or public sectors.
ComFlor® Active
ComFlor Active is an innovative new approach that permits circulation of cool or warm water through a network of water pipes embedded into the concrete to thermally activate the floor.
This method provides highly effective cooling for office buildings and similar heating benefits in residential structures.
In both cases, the low temperature differential between the room temperature and the circulated water allows the use of low carbon technologies, rather than traditional carbon intensive heaters or chillers, to supply water at the required temperature.

Our Confidex® Guarantee includes cover for areas that are situated under photovoltaic (PV) frame modules. This means the whole building envelope is guaranteed to perform for the same duration of up to 40 years, giving building owners who wish to install a PV array the assurance that it will not have a detrimental effect on the performance of the pre-finished steel underneath.
