Assessments
(Stages may be different per site and vacancy)
Stage 2 – Assessments
Assessments are mainly used for graduate, apprentice and manufacturing trainee positions.
Should you be successful following the short-listing of the application forms, you may be invited via email to complete a series of assessments, this may be in-person at our sites or on-line (if applicable). Assessments can range from general aptitude to personality assessments.
You will only be able to complete the assessments once. If you are invited to take online assessments, please make sure you have tried the practice assessments before completing the real thing. Please ensure you are in a quiet room with no distractions.
Should you be invited to undertake assessments, it is essential that you complete these within the given timescale. Following completion of online or in-person assessments, candidates should be informed of the outcome within two weeks via email.
Reasonable adjustments - During the assessment stage, you will be able to let us know if you require any reasonable adjustments. Please confirm to us what reasonable adjustments you require. An example of a reasonable adjustment would be extra time for the online assessments, information to be presented to you differently or for us to simply be aware of your needs. We may ask that you provide evidence for the reasonable adjustment required.
Interview/assessment centre
Stage 3 – Interview/Assessment centre
Interviews are used for all vacancies, assessment centres mainly for graduate vacancies only.
Should you be successful at the assessment stage (if applicable), you will be invited to attend an interview or an assessment centre. This may be in-person at our sites or interviews may also take place online on Microsoft teams.
You may also be requested to prepare and present a short presentation at interview stage. The presentation topic will be given to you in advance of your interview.
Interviews will be competency based and function specific. You will receive an email with the time and date of your interview. Alternative arrangements will only be made in extenuating circumstances.
If you are invited to attend an assessment centre, this will be in-person and will take place at one of our sites. Assessment centres will usually consist of an interview, presentation and a group exercise. Assessment centres are a great opportunity to visit our sites and meet employees, that hopefully will soon become your work colleagues.
We aim to provide feedback within 7 working days following your interview. If you have not heard back after that, please feel free to contact the talent acquisition team for an update. Remember, an interview isn’t just a conversation. It’s an opportunity for you to find out more about the position and for us to find out more about you
Reasonable adjustments - During the interview stage, you will be able to let us know if you require any reasonable adjustments.
