The Mayor of Neath Port Talbot Citizen Awards returned in April, celebrating the outstanding individuals and charities that go above and beyond in the local community.
Tata Steel UK were once again the headline sponsors for the event, as well as sponsoring the Contribution to Charity award, picked up this year by Friends of Margam Park, who undertake hours of voluntary work to make the Park the incredible attraction that it is.
Speaking of this year’s awards, Tata Steel UK’s Public Affairs and Community Manager Lewis Clark said: “A massive well done to all of this year’s winners, who do so much to support and improve this local community. It was great to see stakeholders coming together to celebrate and recognise the hard work that often goes unseen.
“Tata Steel UK remains incredibly proud to be a part of the Neath Port Talbot community and evenings like this remind us all at Tata Steel why giving back is such an important part of what we do.”
Lewis added: “We look forward to being involved in the next year’s awards and continuing to champion our local heroes who do so much good work in the community.”
