Mechanical properties

Metallic coated steel for forming has the following mechanical properties. These are measured transverse to the rolling direction:

^1. If the yield point is not pronounced, the values apply to the 0.2% - proof strength R_p0.2 ; if the yield strength is pronounced, the values apply to the lower yield point R_eL.
^2. Decreased minimum elongation values apply for product thickness t ≤ 0.50 mm (minus 4 units) and for 0.50 mm ≤ t ≤ 0.70 mm (minus 2 units).
Elongation after fraction A uses test piece length L₀ = 80 mm.
^3. For t > 1.5 mm, the minimum r₉₀ - value reduced by 0.2 applies.
^4. For t ≤ 0.70 mm, the minimum r₉₀ - value reduced by 0.2 and minimum n₉₀- value reduced by 0.01 apply.
